Charles Kumi Gyamfi is considered one of Ghana’s all time great players and one of Africa’s most successful coaches. He (co)holds the record for a coach with the most African Cup of Nations championships, three, after leading Ghana to victory in 1963, 1965 and 1982. During the friendly with Fortuna he impressed with his play and soon after would join the club in West Germany. During the 1960-61 season he became the first African to play in German football.Source: Original photo with autograph/dedication by Erich Juskowiak

“‘Follow your heart’, the world says, ‘Do what you feel is right.’ But your desires and needs and lust can convince you something’s right when it’s really all wrong.” - Bruce Wilkinson, The Prayer of Jabez for Teens
“There is a humanistic philosophy that says, ‘If it feels good, do it.’ This is a selfish, anti-God, anti-Christian statement. What we feel should have no bearing on our choices. However, what we do choose will have a tremendous effect on how we feel. We are to obey the truth no matter how we feel. If we obey God, eventually good feelings will follow.” - Dean Sherman, Spiritual Warfare for Every Christian.
Proverbs 4:23 says to guard your heart “for it determines the course of your life” (NLT). Think about that. Whatever’s in your heart is eventually going to show up in your everyday life. Whatever’s inside will eventually find its way out, where anyone and everyone can see it.
That alone makes it extremely important to monitor the things we allow to shape our hearts. I don’t want something nasty, sinful, and selfish finding its way out and damaging my relationships with others, and I doubt you do either.
